Good sized pieces, sweet tender fish that almost melts in the mouth, nice crunchy coating. Lovely. I have bought these with previous orders and will buy again.
The breaded scampi is delicious, much better than restaurant quality. It’s now my go to Friday night dinner, with chips and Tartar sauce. I would recommend wholeheartedly.
I don't deep fry or have room for air fryer I pop frozen chips in oven for 25 minutes while shallow fry these lovely plump scampi until they are coated and slightly brown: then pop onto a metal tray and place on lower shelf in oven. they are ready then the same time as chips. A side salad accomplishment and dollop of mayonnaise to duck the scampi or chips in. An alternative to fish and chips. So quick and easy.
We really enjoyed the 🍤 but hadn’t initially realised it had to be deep fried as opposed to oven heated. That said the flavour and texture was better than oven heated.
Really good quality scampi, large individual pieces. Instructions suggest deep frying but I cooked it in the oven and finished with shallow fry for crispness.
Scampi isn't normally something I would have at home but after reading reviews I thought I'd give them a try. They were delicious and a good size. I don't have z deep fat fryer so just put some oil in a pan and cooked them in that. The oil stayed clean so I've kept it in a jar for the next time.
Just had scampi with chips and salad for tea and it was one of the best scampi’s we’ve had large scampi and so tasty, no pictures of it as everyone just started tucking in, clean plates all round and very satisfied tummies. Great value and loads in the bag will definitely be ordering again.
This was my first order.only tried thee scampi so far much more filling than the one I usually use. I hope the chicken fillets and haddock are as nice.
